Synchronous and Asynchronous Instruction
Examples of Synchronous InstructionExample 1- PeardeckPeardeck: Students split screen with Google Meet and Peardeck. Teacher reviews Presentation with interactive slides and students complete work on their computer (whether they're in class or at home). When finished with the presentation, teacher posts video recording (free with Google Meet) and turns on 'Student Paced' for any student who wasn't present at the time of instruction. Teacher reviews

Examples of Asynchronous InstructionExample 1- PeardeckPeardeck: Teachers turn on 'Student Paced' session first thing in the morning for students to review Peardeck Presentation at some point throughout the day. I would suggest giving the students a time where you would be leading instruction and if they can't make that time they would simply go through the Peardeck presentation by themselves. The next morning you'll close the session and review student responses.
Example 3- Webpage (Google Sites)In this example, I facilitate students as they explore the culture of ancient Greece. You could build a webpage with Google Sites!
